“Wow, it’s been 5 years? Here we go again with another extravaganza down by the water in the awesomely refurbished Seaworks at Williamstown. Welcome to new and old musical friends and legends, plus we have a few surprises down the line. It’s been fifty years since The Byrds with Gram Parsons in the line up gave us the genre creating “Sweetheart Of The Rodeo” so we have to celebrate that. Gonna step up the food and booze offerings this year to even higher standards and varied options. Hot chicken and vegan food anyone? BBQ, burgers, tacos and more of course. Got some real experience type happenings and exhibition stuff to further enhance the almighty vibe too. We want everyone to know about our special day and we’re gonna say it loud and proud. Come back and join us for the good times.” BT, Love Police
Leading the charge of Artists as we roll them out over the next few weeks, we’re very proud to announce the first appearance Down Under for Americana breakout star Margo Price and her band. It’s been a well deserved and honest rise for an artist who is forging her own career path by doing it her way; partnering with a non conventional record label in Jack White’s Third Man Records, championing her own marijuana strain with smoking buddy Willie Nelson and bringing some good ol’ fashion outlaw country swag to major festivals like Glastonbury, Bonnaroo and more. Her two critically acclaimed studio releases in “Midwest Farmers Daughter” and “All American Made” crash landed the Billboard chart and found the Americana singer/songwriter invited to television programs ranging from Saturday Night Live to the late and great Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown. We can’t wait for her debut Australian show at our all day, extravaganza at Seaworks in Williamstown. See you there!
